THE PROGRAM INCLUDES A WIDE RANGE OF CONCERTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AND OTHER VERY POPULAR EVENTS

Llíria will once again celebrate its traditional Vincentian festivities, organized by the City Council of Llíria and the Brotherhood of Sant Vicent Ferrer. The epicenter of the festive activity will again be the park of San Vicente, which will bring together thousands of people in these popular events. From April 14 to 23, there will be an extensive program of concerts for young people and other cultural shows and activities for all audiences.

After the previous days in the days of Easter, the festivities of Sant Vicent Ferrer will be officially presented on Friday, April 14 in an event at the theater of the Unió Musical, which will also feature the show of the mentalist Toni Pons.

This year’s program has a powerful offer aimed especially for young people. The shows will begin with the PrimaFest (April 15) in which the groups “El último ke zierre”, “Smoking Soul” and the orchestra “La Pato” will perform in the Plaza Major. The music will continue on April 16, after the paella festival in the park of Sant Vicent, the orchestra “The Hottubes” and DJ Santy Mataix.

The festival of the feast day of the co-patron saint, on Monday April 17, will close with performances by the Tokyo Band and DJ Brenda Serna, in the Plaza Major. And this same space will host on the 21st the macro-party ‘Tumbalea Revolution’, with a whole team of animation, the best voices and DJ’s.

Concerts by local groups
As usual, the music of local groups will also be present in the festivities of Llíria. The Banda Primitiva de Llíria will offer an extraordinary concert (April 22) accompanied by the singer Argentina. The UDP Llíria-Camp de Túria-Serranos Band (April 15), the Orquesta de Plectro “El Micalet” (April 15) and the Agrupación Musical Edetana “Vicente Giménez” (April 22) will also perform in the festival program.

Big day of the festivities
Monday April 17 will be the big day of the festivities, with its most multitudinous act, the traditional rogativa that brings together thousands of people on a very special day. The image of Sant Vicent will move again to the park where a popular lunch and a solemn mass will be celebrated in the chapel. After the blessing of the waters, next to the olive tree where Father Vicent Ferrer preached, the procession will return to the parish of the Assumption, to continue the festive agenda of the day.

In this weekend prior to the feast of the co-patron saint, the park of Sant Vicent also becomes the meeting place for the citizens of Edetana with the XXIV Festival of Paelles (April 16) or the carriage ride and distribution of the monkey to the little ones (April 15).

Other cultural events
The theater will also be present in the festive program. The Colp T-atre will represent the play “El Crèdit” by Jordi Galceran in the theater of the Primitiva (April 20). While on April 22, Teatre de L’Abast will offer the family play “Rob”.

The IX 10K of Sant Vicent (April 22), first scoring test of the Circuit of Popular Races of the Mancomunitat del Camp de Túria 2023, cannot be missed either in these festivities.

The festivities dedicated to the co-patron saint of Llíria will end on Sunday 23 with the solemn procession and the events to be held in the morning as the mass, parade and mascletà.
