Ibero-Edetana Trail

It offers a view of the world of the Iberians. You visit the only known Iberian metropolis. It’s the ancient city of Edeta, covering almost 10 hectares, with a complex, urban layout which adapted to the steeply sloping terrain.
The trail includes a walk up the hillside of Saint Michael along the Revessa slope, a guided tour of the excavated part of the archaeological site of Edeta, a panoramic view of a large part of ancient Edetania, of which Edeta was the capital, and a downhill walk to the town centre along calle San Miguel.

  • Length of the activity: two hours.
  • Open-air archaeological site.
  • Recommended for youths and adults
  • Equipment needed: trainers, water, clothes to protect you from the sun or rain.

Castellet de Bernabé

You visit one of the best examples of Iberian hilltop settlements where the living and production spaces are situated on either side of a central street.

The trail includes the journey by car to the natural beauty spot of Concordia, part of the Sierra Calderona Nature Reserve, the walk along a stretch of the Cavalló de l’Olivera track, PRV-258, the visit to a type of Iberian settlement in the municipal area of Llíria (the Iberian village) and the return journey by car to Llíria town centre.
