Festivals of The Immaculate and The Remedy
The festivals of the Immaculate Conception, fruit of the historical inheritance of the Franciscans, are held in late August, and the festivals of Our Lady of Los Remedios, linked to the inheritance of the Trinitarians, are held early September.
Both celebrations are organised by their respective confraternities.
During these weeks Llíria is spruced up with the gunpowder from the fireworks, the fabulous processions, Bous al Carrer, the Moors and Christians, Cavallets, los Gigantes y Cabezudos, la Merenguina, the religious acts and the music from the respective bands: the Banda Primitiva, protagonists in the festival of the Immaculate Conception, and the Unió Musical, in Our Lady of Los Remedios.
